David’s Journey

David is no stranger to life’s twists and turns. Like most of us, he has known loss, failure, and disappointment, as well as deep connection, meaningful work, and hard-earned success. His path has taken him from a suburban, immature boy to a restless wanderer, and eventually to a man committed to growth and service. Most recently, he has worked closely with families trying to support their at-risk children and young adults.

David’s journey truly began within a painful chapter of his family of origin. Growing up, he witnessed firsthand the challenges his family faced and the ways those struggles affected everyone. He came to understand how deeply one person’s difficulties can ripple through an entire family, and how parents can feel overwhelmed, uncertain, and unsure where to turn. Those early experiences taught him that when change becomes necessary, it rarely affects just one person—life has a way of stirring everything at once. They also shaped his deep understanding of the importance of support, connection, and finding a path forward when a family feels stuck.
