David has provided parent support to families with at-risk teens and young adults for more than 30 years. Since 2005, he has facilitated a weekly, in-person parent support group focused on the parallel process parents experience as their teens or young adults navigate their own journeys.
David’s work is deeply informed by personal experience. In the late 1990s, he and his family received significant support while his younger brother was in crisis—an experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to helping parents feel less alone.
David brings a warm, grounded, and at times playful approach to his work, helping ease the pain parents carry while opening them to the growth, insight, and unexpected opportunities that can emerge during even the most challenging seasons.
